PWCS Schools Closed Tuesday, Feb. 9 on Code Red
All Prince William County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 9, on Code Red. The School Age Care Program will not open.

Superintendent Presents Proposed FY2011 Budget
Reduced funding, increased student enrollment equal $79 million gap for FY2011. Dr. Steven L. Walts, Superintendent of Schools, presented his proposed budget for next year at the Feb. 3 School Board meeting. Read more.
Kindergarten Registration for 2010-11
Kindergarten registration for the 2010–11 school year is set for Wednesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 28 at individual schools. Parents should contact their school for specific registration times. Read more.

Hearts for Haiti was a huge success! Thank you for your generosity! Gravely raised $1,100 to donate to the American Red Cross!
Pennies for Patients
Pennies for Patients kicks off Tuesday, February 2nd!
Week 1 (February 2-5)…”Can You Guess the Super Bowl Champions?”
There will be two jars placed outside the office. Each jar will have a picture of one of the teams playing in the Super Bowl. Students will place change in the jar of the team they want to win.

Week 2 (February 8-12)… “The Great Tricycle Race”
Several jars will be placed outside the office. Each jar will have the name and picture of a staff member who has volunteered to take part in a tricycle race around the bus loop! Students will use change to vote for the staff members they would like to see compete.
Week 3 (February 16-19)…"Bring Your Presidents to School With You”
This week's theme coincides with President's Day. Several jars will be placed outside the office. There will be one jar for each grade level. Students will place change in their grade level’s jar. The grade level that brings the most "presidents" to school with them will win a prize!
